Marriage is a promise of bond between two individuals, two families, two
societies, two villages, two cities and between many more things. Promises carry
a marriage. The promise is to be with each other in thick and thin of life. The
happiness of the married individuals comes through upkeep of these promises. Families
and societies help in nurturing and keeping up of the promises of happiness.
This in turn keeps everyone healthy and happy, for health follows happiness and
health is wealth. So, marriage is the key to societal wellbeing.
A nation identifies itself with a geographical boundary loaded with
topographical features, a political boundary set after dialogues with neighbours,
series of historical events that has led to its formation and its economic
policies upon which the working class thrives to earn bread for themselves.
Development of a nation is hence dependent on strengthening these four pillars.
Our constitution also states, Journalism, Policy making, Security Forces and
Industry are the four pillars of our nation. These four pillars resemble the
one I mentioned earlier. To strengthen these four pillar is to strengthen,
stabilise and mobilise our fellow citizens.
People build a nation. People come together and make marriages happen. People come together and make families happen. People, come together and make societies happen. People come together and make a village, a city, a state and a nation happen. The people connect himself or herself to each other and hence connect to the nation. People create happiness and people create health. Today, on the eve of 75th glorious Independence year of World’s largest democracy, I dedicate this article to the very 1.3 billion people of India that is Bharat, who come together to make this nation a true beauty in itself!
