Marriage is a promise of bond between two individuals, two families, two societies, two villages, two cities and between many more things. Promises carry a marriage. The promise is to be with each other in thick and thin of life. The happiness of the married individuals comes through upkeep of these promises. Families and societies help in nurturing and keeping up of the promises of happiness. This in turn keeps everyone healthy and happy, for health follows happiness and health is wealth. So, marriage is the key to societal wellbeing.
