Let me tell you some short stories. On 20th January, Pratyusha Vedantam, a IIT Madras student goes missing. She wrote in a note "on her leanings toward the sainthood, she has embarked upon the journey towards Himalayas". She had mentioned developing a strange detachment from the curriculum and thus went ahead to search the purpose of her life.A few months before that, a PhD student from Hyderabad Central University committed suicide. He wrote in a note "No one to blame for his suicide". He mentioned failure in academics and peer pressure in the suicide note.
